PREDS PREPARING FOR LOS ANGELES
The Predators continue their preparations for Monday’s night game with the Los Angeles Avengers. Head Coach Jay Gruden said his team would have to be on top of its game to earn a victory over the improved Avengers. “San Jose is considered one of the top teams in the league and Los Angeles gave them all they could handle last week,” Gruden said. “This game will be a good test on whether we have improved from Week 1 to Week 2.” The Predators may be without the services of WR Jimmy Fryel, who tweaked a hamstring against Tampa Bay last week. His status is listed as day-to-day and the Predators are contemplating on putting him on the injured reserve list. If he goes on IR, Fryzel would be forced to miss the next four games. A decision is expected on Saturday.
BIG 10-4 FEATURED AT PREDFEST
Fans are reminded that the Budweiser PredFest begins at 5 p.m. outside of Hummer Field at Amway Arena. Monday’s even features a live performance by BIG 10-4. An energetic rock quartet based in Orlando, Big 10-4 has been playing to sold out clubs throughout Florida and have become a popular opening act at The House of Blues. The band recently released their first album “Testing the Atmosphere,” featuring the fast-rising hit “Walking Disaster.”

Predators president Brett Bouchy announced the return of the popular “4 For 40” deal for Monday night’s game with the Avengers. Fans receive four tickets to the game and a voucher for four small soft drinks or beer, all for just $40. The 4 for 40 pack can be ordered by calling 407-44-PREDS.

RADIO PERSONALITY TO ATTEMPT RECORD BREAKING JUMP AT HALFTIME
What do you get when you combine a 50-cc scooter, a man in a bear costume, a homemade ramp and six HUMMERs? HUMMER of Orlando, the Orlando Predators and WTKS 104.1 FM hope you get a World Record Hummer Jump.
At the Orlando Predator’s first home game of the season Monday, March 12, Monsters in the Morning radio personality Drunky the Bear will attempt to fly his scooter more than 40 feet over six HUMMERs during the half-time show. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN2.
Predators President Brett Bouchy and Monsters in the Morning creator Russ Rollins came up with the idea for the stunt after watching the Bear jump his scooter over a monster truck a few weeks ago at the Citrus Bowl.
“Drunky the Bear’s jump at the Citrus Bowl was such a big hit with onlookers that we thought, ‘Predators fans and Monster listeners will love this and what better way to celebrate our first home game of the 2007 season at Hummer Field at the Amway Arena,’” said Bouchy. “We approached HUMMER of Orlando about providing four HUMMER H3s for the stunt, and the rest is history.”
Bouchy and Rollins are providing the final two HUMMERs in the lineup – a stipulation that the Bear made before agreeing to attempt the feat. Radio show listeners have called in for the past week telling Rollins they hope the bear lands on his HUMMER. Listeners and Predators fans can express their well- or ill-fated wishes to the Bear and Rollins by signing the landing bull’s-eye at HUMMER of Orlando, 900 State Road 434 in Altamonte Springs, Friday, March 9 through 1 p.m. Monday, March 12.
