Predators Reach Out To Fans At International Auto Show

ORLANDO - On Saturday afternoon the Orlando Predators met up with football fans at the Orange County Convention Center to talk about the upcoming season during the 2012 Model Central Florida International Auto Show.

The annual event, presented by the Central Florida Auto Dealers Association and produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows, allows attendees to view, test drive and experience the latest cars, trucks, crossovers and exotic vehicles on the market in a non-selling environment.

Preds fullback James Lynch and Prowler Dancer Morgan C. were present alongside local personalities from Real Radio 104.1 FM and 101.1 WJRR as guests at the International Auto Show.

The Central Florida International Auto Show features the latest in technological innovations in the automotive industry pertaining to safety and convenience options. All of the major auto manufacturers were permitted to present their new car models, including electric and hybrid versions.

The Central Florida Auto Dealers Association also uses the show as a vehicle to promote careers in education and technology in the automotive industry.

"Coming to the show helps us build awareness with the public about the latest products," said Ivo Legzdins of Classic Honda. "It encourages them to come into the dealership and test-drive the vehicles."

Honda was among more than 70 manufacturers and vendors in attendance over the weekend. The show was expected to top over 5,000 in attendance throughout the four-day event.

"We always enjoy the opportunity to join with partners like Real Radio and WJRR in reaching out to fans in Central Florida," said Jack Benigno, Luxury Suites Manager for the Orlando Predators. "Any time we are able to meet fans in a relaxed atmosphere such as the auto show and let them know about our upcoming season, we want to take advantage of it."

The Orlando Predators will continue to make stops throughout the community during the Arena Football League’s offseason. Contact the Preds at 407-648-4444 to inquire about appearances at trade shows or industry events.
